Carter Dome (4,826 ft) is the highest point of the Carter-Moriah Range in Coos County. It towers north of Pinkham Notch, with its broad summit giving panoramic views of Mt. Washington and the Presidential peaks. Trails cross a high ridge to reach Carter Dome’s open peak.
