Mount Madison (5,367 ft) is the northernmost summit of the Presidential Range. Named for President Madison, its bald peak sits at timberline. A stretch of the Appalachian Trail (via the Osgood Trail) passes just below the top, and the historic Madison Spring Hut lies between Madison and Adams. We include Mt.
