Mount Flume (4,328 ft) anchors the southern tip of the Franconia Ridge in the White Mountains. Its open summit provides outstanding views of Franconia Notch, the Kinsman Range to the west, and the Franconia Ridge itself. Hikers reach Flume via the Liberty Springs Trail or the steep Slide climb. The exposed Flume Slide is a memorable rock chute on the ascent.
